MORE WOMEN IN SCIENCE TODAY

Women in Science is partnering with Phlebotomy Scout to provide more opportunities for low-income women to kickstart their career in science and healthcare.

Phlebotomy career could be your pathway to future science career by helping you earn a decent wage with (often) flexible hours. The whole process of becoming a phlebotomist is relatively short - 4 to 8 months (one or two semesters), depending on the program. More details can be found here: http://phlebotomyscout.com/how-to-become-a-phlebotomist/

Becoming a phlebotomist in a relatively short timeframe is a rewarding and effective way to start in healthcare and grow into science major or further advance as a caregiver.
