[audio begins]

Britney: [singing] She's a bad mama jama, just as fine as she can be....

Girl 1: Brittney.

Britney: [singing] She's a bad mama jama.

Girl 1: Brittney, please, please.

Britney: No?

Girl 1: No.

Britney: No?

Girl 1: No.

Britney: [singing] Hello puppet.

Girl 1: [laughs] No, please.

Britney: No, oh alright.

Girl 1: Yeah, we should go watch the new one.

Girl 2: New what?

Girl 1: "Pirates of the Caribbean - At Worlds End."

Britney: Yeah.

Girl 1: Whenever I think of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" I think of that octopus guy. What's his name?

Girl 2: Davy Jones. Hey in science we're doing a unit on the ocean and sea floor and we're talking about a lady named Dawn Right. She has a laboratory and she calls it Davy Jones locker.

Girl 1: Oh yeah I heard about her she's like an oceanographer or something.

Britney: What are you guys talking about Dawn Right, don't you mean darn right?

Girl 2: No, that's just her name.

Britney: My bad.

Girl 2: It was awhile ago I don't remember that much about her anymore.

Britney: Well let's go on the computer and find more stuff on Dawn Right.

Girl 1: Stop, I see her name right there.

Girl 2: OK.

Girl 1: Let's see, Dawn Right she's a full professor in the department of geosciences.

Girl 2: She spent three years at sea as a Marine technician.

Britney: Whoa, whoa, whoa, three years, she stayed at sea for three years non-stop on a boat. Was she seasick?

Girl 2: I don't know, I mean I guess she stayed at sea so...you know.

Britney: OK, shut-up.

Girl 2: She works on application and analytical issues in geographic information systems also known as GIS.

Britney: Say what!

Girl 2: I don't know do I look like a scientist?

Girl 1: Not really.

Britney: [laughs] Not really.

Girl 2: OK, whatever let's just move on. She worked at Oregon State University and is currently teaching there. She was inspired as scientist by Jacques Cousteau and because she was raised in Hawaii she became very interested in the ocean.

Girl 1: She has a dog named Lydia who's an official department dog. She is 12 years old and she weighs 84 pounds. Lydia also enjoys the music of Sarah Brightman.

Girl 2: She was nominated for US professor of the year and won 22 awards.

Britney: Who the dog?

Girl 2: No Dawn. How old is Dawn?

Girl 1: I don't know all it says is that she was born on income tax day at the dawn of generation X.

Britney: Generation X?

Girl 2: I don't know.

Girl 1: Me neither.

Britney: What kind of music does she listen to?

Girl 1: She likes the "Gorillas", "Crash Test Dummies" and "U2."

Girl 2: She admires Benjamin Franklin, Sylvia Earle, W.E.B Du Bois and her mother.

Girl 1: Oh that's so cute.

Britney: Ohhhh... I'm so hungry. Girl one & 2: Brit you're always hungry.

Britney: Point.

Girl 2: OK, I'm kind of hungry to.

Girl 1: OK go get some food while I find a movie to watch.

Britney: I wanna watch "Pirates of the Caribbean."

Girl 2: Ewww, no I want to watch "High School Musical."

Britney: Wow, you watch that?

Girl 2: No, it's just that...You know...Umm....no.

Girl 1: Let's just put in pirates?

Britney: Just stop OK.

Girl 2: Alright, we'll just put in pirates.
